Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) SeminarThe U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is sponsoring a one-day seminar in Nashville, TN, on Wednesday, June 26, 1996, to address the Oil Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) regulations. The seminar is FREE to the general public. The seminar will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Nashville Convention Center, 601 Commerce Street, Room 206, Nashville, TN 37203, telephone no. (615) 742-2000. Thirty sleeping rooms have been reserved at the government rate of $69.00/single on June 25, 1996, under SPCC Outreach Conference - EPA at the Stouffer Renaissance Hotel, 611 Commerce Street, Nashville, TN 37203, telephone no. (615) 255-8400. The seminar has been developed by EPA and is designed to promote a better understanding of, and compliance with, the SPCC regulations of 40 CFR 112. EPA staff will present information to assist in developing and implementing spill prevention plans. The seminar is recommended for those who are owners and operators of facilities that store oil in aboveground storage tanks, oil field operators, environmentalists, regulators, consulting engineers, and professional engineers that certify SPCC plans.
