Online resources related to hazardous substance and oil emergencies abound on the Internet. Below are listed just a few such resources. Because we cannot keep up with the comings and goings of gopher and Web sites, we would be interested to learn of any sites that you find particularly valuable. Just send us an e-mail at erinfo@epamail.epa.gov and tell us about it. And, of course, include the URL.

Internet Disaster Information Network

This Web site aims to help distribute the latest news on disaster situations to the Internet community. It also offers links to other disaster-related sites, though none are specific to hazardous substances or oil emergencies. It appears to be run on a volunteer basis, and judging by our last visit, is in need of volunteers to help out. Check it out and let us know if you think it's worth keeping on our list.
